Ahonen still believes that with lots of hard work and attitude the comeback is truly possible, and he concentrates fully on Sochi 2014 and 13/14 4HT. He said that the new jumping suits gave him the last push to make the return, and also the fact that he still has no gold medal.
Some time ago in an expert interview during 4HT, Ahonen said something that “Since there is so much fuss about the new suits, maybe I should try too” and he thought that the new suits would fit for his flying
Ahonen can’t compete on this season due to 3-4 month doping control, but his main goal is a medal in Sochi and season 13-14 4 Hills Tournament
